The transition from fashion to garden designer and landscape contractor was brought about during a tumultuous time in the business world. As one door closed another started to open.
“I am so grateful to have the opportunity to follow my passion, to be able to spend my time creating gardens. I love what I do. My mission is to make the world a more beautiful place, one garden at a time. To me a garden is a living sculpture, a dynamic art form.
Acknowledging lifestyle and tastes, I create your outdoor world with elements that work best with your unique site while creating outdoor rooms and spaces for everyone to enjoy.”
Kim spent 18 years in the fashion industry as a retailer at Bullocks Wilshire and many years spent with various designers and manufactures in sales, merchandising and design. During those harried years as a “fashionista” Kim found solace, sanctuary and peace in the garden.
I thoroughly enjoy the process of transforming a landscape, from concept through completion. I love getting to know you, my client, as we work to define how you, your family and friends will use the outdoor living space.
To see Kim run through her grandparents rose garden and fruit trees as a child, it is not surprising that her life’s work and passion would be found in the garden. Those years under their watchful and loving eyes nurtured a love for the land and all it has to offer. But her path to the garden was a surreptitious one.
