To see Kim run through her grandparents rose garden and fruit trees as a child, it is not surprising that her life’s work and passion would be found in the garden. Those years under their watchful and loving eyes nurtured a love for the land and all it has to offer. But her path to the garden was a surreptitious one.

Kim spent 18 years in the fashion industry as a retailer at Bullocks Wilshire and many years spent with various designers and manufactures in sales, merchandising and design. During those harried years as a “fashionista” Kim found solace, sanctuary and peace in the garden. The transition from fashion to garden designer and landscape contractor was brought about during a tumultuous time in the business world. As one door closed another started to open.
